My interests and activities are focused on three areas, those of socio-territorial development of urban peripheries and rural-urban areas and territorial rights of vulnerable communities, gender studies exploring the factors in current urbanity that trigger gender-based violence in public spaces, and studies on the decolonization of architectural and urban thought and the role of women in community development, resource utilization, and environmental stewardship.
